Hi! I have purchased a pair of khakis (tan) and I wish to dye them a good black. They don't make this style khaki in black and that is why I must dye them myself. I purchased RIT black and followed the instructions, but obviously the result is not very black, and in certain light you can see a blue tint. I am assuming that the stitching on the pants is made of polyester or another synthetic fiber because the stitching did not dye. Are any of your dyes suitable for my needs? I see that the Procion line is great for cotton but is there another that can take care of the cotton and the thread?

Thanks so much!

Hi,
IDye regular and IDye Poly will dye both fiber types. You would use one of each
