I'm making my own blending solution - 30ml isopropyl alcohol with 2 drops of glycerin. Can anyone tell me ii ethanol works the same way as the isopropyl. I've looked up the chemical formula and there is a slight difference. Many thanks.

Our inks work better with ethyl alcohol.  That is their base, and that is why you can get a granular look sometimes with isopropyl.  The dyes are much more soluble with ethanol.  That is why our inks are so much darker than Ranger's inks.

Gosh, that was quick - thank you! So is ethyl alcohol the same as ethanol?
