While in Guatemala with my brother, we fell in love with the chicken buses. I will be delivering a used car to my brother in June and would like to paint it up like a chicken bus, but don't want to use solvent-based paint if I don't have to. Lumieres work great on everything else; can I use them on the exterior of the car? Other Jacquard products? See examples below:

Those are pretty crazy buses!

I doubt that you would have great success with Lumiere on metal. It's really not designed for that surface. It may stick for a little while, but I would expect that it would flake off fairly easily, finishing it off with some kind of varathane would help it last longer.
I suggest trying out our Airbrush Colors. They can be applied to metal and we offer metallic colors in that line. You could also mix Pearl Ex into the transparent colors to create your own unique metallic colors. Particle sizes vary in the Pearl Ex line so you will have to experiment with different size nozzles for your airbrush.
If you want the paint to be more permanent, it's a good idea to seal it with a transparent top-coat. You may be able to find a waterbased product that will work.

Experiment and have fun!!
