I was wondering if dorlands wax could be:

1) Mixed with soft pastels to create a type of oil pastel-like texture that would become more permanent and fixed when dry, and would not be any problem mixing the gum or binder in panpastels and the solvent in Dorland, and

2) Can be mixed with Holben Duo Aqua water miscible oil paints, as long as no water is used with the paints.

Thank you.

HI Rose,

I am not an expert on Dorland's, however, I believe using either of the two mediums you mention with the Dorland's should give you good results and dry well.
