I would like to dye my pants (which are a Polyester/Elastine/Cotton fabric mix and dark stone grey in colour) black. What is the best way to achieve this?

Hi Sunny,

With that fiber combo you'll want to use the iDye & the iDye Poly with the stove top method. More info here: http://jacquardproducts.com/assets/jacquard-site/product-pages/dyes/idye/iDye%20Poly%20Instructions.pdf

Thanks. Also do you put equal amounts of iDye and iDye Poly?

That is the easiest way to do it. If the fiber is significantly one type or the other (say 95% cotton/5% poly) you'd want to be sure to go heavy on the iDye for natural fibers, but if it is a 60/40 or even 80/20 blend a 1/2 & 1/2 mixture of the dyes will suffice. Any excess dye will wash out during the final rinse.
You will want to wash the garment in cold water for the rest of its life, and as with any laundry, wash with like colors.
