I'm weaving a project & cant find charcoal tencel. Is it possible to dye it on the cone & get an even color? I'm pretty new to dying so need exact products to use & step by step direction. Any place I can find these or does someone mind explaining?

Dear Ajaitz,

First, my apology for the delayed response - been away from my computer for a few days...
As for dyeing on the cone - this would be difficult as the dye would not penetrate the top layers of thread.
If you were to unwind the thread from the cone dyeing tencel would be best achieved by using Procion MX dyes. There are a couple of different methods you could use for this and I'm happy to explain them if you are interested. The best place to start would be with our instructions for Procion MX - take a look at the immersion instructions: http://jacquardproducts.com/assets/jacquard-site/product-pages/dyes/procion-mx/Procion%20MX%20Instructions.pdf
Let me know.
