So I've got an old boiled wool blanket that I was thinking of dyeing with the Jacquard pre-reduced indigo kit. Does anyone have experience with this? Any suggestions (other than a post dyeing vinegar soak to neutralize the base-iness of the dye vat)?

Wool takes indigo very well. The vinegar soak you mention is the most important part.

I have heard recently about some reducer being leftover in the blankets like this, so don't fold it up immediately after dyeing. It seems it can fade where it is folded. Keep it exposed to air for a day or so to make sure all the reducer is all oxidized.
