Hello. I have been using dye-na-flow on silk for years now and have always heat set it with an iron with great success. I have a ton of silk that I just recently dyed and am limited on time. Are there quicker ways to heat set? Someone suggested putting them in the dryer? I appreciate any suggestions and/or recommendations.
Thank you!

Hi Angie,

Some folks have reported success setting the Dye-Na-Flow using the dryer at its highest heat setting. I've never tried it myself and don't generally recommend it without doing some testing first. If you have a piece that you'd be willing to test on I'd say go for it. I do definitely recommend allowing the paint to dry at least 24 hours before heat setting and using the dryer you might want to let it dry for 48 - 72 hours.

hope this helps
