I have a workout sweater. It is 14% spandex and 86% nylon. It currently is black and a blue color. I need this sweater to be black. i know i need to use an acid dye but what i am wondering about is do i need to use soda ash dye fixer with the jacquard jet black dye to get this item as dark as i can? Im a little confused as to how to do this.

Hi Dream,

With the acid dye you would NOT use soda ash. What you want to add is vinegar (white 5%) or citric acid. You'll find full instructions here: http://jacquardproducts.com/assets/jacquard-site/product-pages/dyes/acid/Acid%20Dye%20Instructions.pdf
