Hi there,
I just used procion mx cobalt blue on a pair of very light washed jeans (98% Cotton). They came out a lovely and VERY saturated, bright blue. Now I am hoping to tone them down / darken them to a more subtle shade. Would I add jet black to get to navy? If so, in what ratio? Other suggestions? Thank you.

Funny the cobalt is usually more subdued.  Almost blue jean color.  Best thing to do is to use some orange.  It will deepen the color and take the brightness down a peg.  Usually you us about 5-10% of what you used to dye them originally.  I would try 5%.  1/2 a teaspoon is about right if you used a whole jar on the jeans.
