hi there. i would like to dye my sofa covers which are either cotton or a linen and viscose mix (i'm not sure which!) and the wash instructions say wash on 30 degrees. obviously the idea is to dye them at the highest temp possible but i'm scared of shrinking my covers. any advice? many thanks!

Hi Clara,

I'd follow the washing instructions regarding temperature. This doesn't completely rule out using iDye for Natural fibers, but you might be much better off using Procion MX dyes for this project.
Procion MX are a 'cold water, fiber reactive' dye and are very effective at temps in the 20 - 40° C range.
