I'm printing reactive colours on some knitted cotton and have to use a lot of colour to get it all the way through the bulky fabric. After steaming when washing the fabric I have big issues with keeping the light areas from staining in the wash bath from excess pigment coming off the fabric. Any tips or hints how to keep the fabric from backstaining?! Cheers!

Hi Minna,

Using Synthrapol during the rinse can help tremendously with the back staining issue. Also rinsing under running water or changing your water VERY often can help prevent back staining.
You might also want to try using our SolarFast Wash - this is a product similar to Synthrapol, but with bigger muscles to really grab hold of the excess dye.

hope this helps,
