I'm trying to dye some cotton pipe cleaners. Right now they are cream and they really are cotton, not like the ones you get at most craft stores. I'm trying to get a nice fleshy peach color. I tried dipping them in ecru and ochre dye-na-flow but ended up with a burnt orange and brown. Not at all like the color samples you see online. Can someone help me get peach? You can see what I'm hoping to achieve in this photo (note the pipe cleaner arms)

Hi there,

As color is generally consider very subjective the best I can do is make a suggestion and encourage you to do some testing first. Another thing to keep in mind is that every monitor creates its own representation of the color chips, so while they can give a general idea of a color depending on an electronic representation of a color can be dicey.
As for a suggestion: you might want to try #804 Salmon and dilute it a bit to get the lighter shade.
