Covering black, even with our Neopaque White or Textile Colors, Opaque White, especially on leather, is going to require a bit of pre - testing. Because you'll want to get a good layer on the shoes the first time around you might want to practice a bit with different brushes (to determine which type will best apply to the shoes) and to perfect your application method. If you have a surface similar to the shoes that you can pratice on that would be best.
You'll also want to be sure that the shoe surface is clean of any water resistant covering, etc. Washing them with a good shoe cleaner should work.
