Hi all,

I've been doing a lot of reading lately and have no experience in all of this but I'm reading conflicting information on dying lycra/spandex.

I note that the acid dyes are meant to dye this fabric given that you don't go over the highest temperature rating so you don't melt or warp the fabric. On the other hand..... I'm reading that you can't dye nylon lycra/spandex at all.....

Well it must be achievable.... can anyone shed some light on this?

For Nylon acid dye is great its the spandex or elastic that is the problem dyeing. You may wish to tri I-Dye Poly. That may work.
