I would like to paint a heavy cotton canvas floor covering that is stretched over dense foam for martial arts training (Aikido). It only needs to be enough sealing to enable quick wipe-up of small spills and cleaning with a damp mop. But it needs to hold up over time, unlike scotch guard-like products. It doesn't need to be completely waterproof. It would also be best to keep as much of the canvas texture as possible. Adding a little color will be nice, but flexibility is probably the most important quality.

I hope you can help,
