We use PearlEx micas on fused (kilnformed) glass. Many (though not all) of the colors hold up nicely at fusing temperatures.

Does anyone have any information about how the micas are colored? I would like to better understand what makes some colors work while other burn away.

Hi there,

We use various oxides to color the mica - in general the Pear-Ex will withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.
