Hi there- I am an artist and an elementary school art teacher. I just joined this forum today---i had someone ask me about dyeing some polyester crepe costumes (for a ballet performance)--would the jacquard textile paints work on polyester crepe? I only have experience with tie-dyeing. I figured if the textile paints worked, then i would apply them using my airbrush. The client wants the "flowy" skirts of the costumes dyed blues & yellows. ANy advice? Suggestions?
Thanks!

Jeannette,

Textile Traditionals are a good choice for the project you have ahead of you. You'll probably want to thin it a bit - but not more than 25%. There are also the Airbrush Colors which are specific to this sort of application.
