I am preparing my photographs for an exhibit and do not like glass on top of photos - hence want to try Dorland's cold wax to preserve the image and prevent it from minor damage.
Can anyone give me additional information - can I apply the wax staight or should I mix it with another medium, what is best way to apply, etc? Thanks.

A thin layer of the Dorland's can be rubbed onto the photograph with a very soft cloth. Make the application of the layer and allow it to dry and harden for several days and then buff with a soft cloth.
We always recommend testing for an alternative application such as this so you might want to try this out with a photograph that can be sacrificed.
