I just finished steaming silk that had been painted with the green label dyes. When I opened the whole thing up, my paper-wrapped pieces were damp and some of the color had bled on the paper. The pieces still look fine but my question is: Do I have to steam these pieces again to set the color or is the color now set even though the fabric got damp? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

How long did you steam the pieces?

About 1.5 to 2 hours. What do you think?

So, sounds like you've done everything just right. Your fabric will be (and should be) a bit damp when you take it out of the steam chamber. A little bleeding onto the paper is normal. You steamed for plenty of time. Next step - let the piece dry completely and then rinse.
