Hi! I would like to dye 7yds of a silk/rayon chiffon embroidered blended fabric. Can I just use a regular acid dye or do I have to use a procion? I would like to create a midtone to light vermillion if I use the acid dye or a midtone to light magenta if I use the procion. Any suggestions on ratios and amounts. Thanks, Laura.

Hi,
MX would be a better dye as it is suitable for both fiber types. Here is a link to the instructions for using MX. Use the cellulous method if the rayon is the predominant fiber in the fabric.
