I recently ordered Solarfast Dye for my HS photography students. We have a mainly digital program and no access to a darkroom, so I love the idea of using Solarfast to show students the photo development process in its simplest form. I wanted to know if anyone has any experience exposing the Solarfast dye within a pinhole camera. I am not sure it will work because the light entering the camera will be so indirect and it may up the exposure time to way longer than I can accommodate with my students. Just looking for a way to create pinholes with my kids without access to a darkroom for development. All ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Thank you!

Hi Nicole,

I'll leave this one to our more photo-centric members.
