I used a Tee Juice marker on silk, and after it dried, the silk is stiff. I understand that I need to heat set it, but I'm concerned about 1. heat-setting the "stiffness" into it; and alternately 2. washing out the extra either with or without heat setting, and having the extra ink (which is presumably making the silk stiff) wash and bleed out onto the rest of the fabric. Any advice as to how to proceed? Thank you!

It is the binder in the ink that is leaving the hand on the silk. Heat set the color on the silk and then wash the fabric with a little fabric softener that should restore a soft feel.
