I have been making painted scarves using Dye-No-Flow (love it) and would like to start discharging the color. The instructions and tutorials that I have so far found are for using discharge on dye, not paint.
Will Jacquard's discharge work the same on Dye-Na-Flow as it does on dyes? And is it safe for all material - I currently use silk, rayon, silk/wool blend and chiffon (chiffon may be too sheer)?

Hi Yarn,

The Discharge Paste will not work with Dye-Na-Flow, sorry to say.

The Discharge Paste is safe for use with all fabric types and works well with most dyes, disperse dye being an exception. It can also be used to some stunning effects - using dyes that don't discharge well under dyes that do can result in some very cool pieces and some dyes shift from one color to another when you use Discharge Paste with them. Take a look at our Procion MX tech page for more info: http://jacquardproducts.com/assets/jacquard-site/product-pages/dyes/procion-mx/ProcionMX_ColorInfo.pdf
