I purchased a container of emulsion with diazo. I followed directions as well as watched videos from jacguard on YouTube.  The first time i let it dry 20 minutes. Exposed it with a bright LED light for 2 minutes. Washed it out an EVERYTHING washed out. So i let the 110 mesh screen dry. And tried it again. This time i let it dry 4 hours and the same thing happened. Am I doing something wrong? Or should I buy a different manufacturer brand?

Photo emulsion is set by UV light.  Generally LED's don't put out much UV light.  I think you ought to use the sun.  IF you LED does put out UV light, you need more time.  We have a large exposure unit that is quite good, but we still need 12 minutes to cure the screen.  2 min is too little time unless we are talking about the sun.

Good exposure in the bright sun is 30 seconds.  If cloudy, you need 45.

Your exposure is too short

Too long nothing washes out

Too short everything washes out

Make sure when you wash that you leave running water on it for 3+ minutes.  It usually takes a couple of minuted to soften before it starts to wash away.

My dad taught me since I was a young boy that only water should be used to wash out emulsion from a screen.  The times I used my fingers I usually ruined it.  Use spray from the sink and you can direct the water with you thumb like you would a hose.

After washed out, allowing it to dry in the sun will also help harden the screen for longer life.

While slightly off topic, I was curious of the shelf life of the emulsion once it's mixed. I've used speedball before and per their label the emulsion is good for a few months if refrigerated. I've not been able to locate anything for Jacguard's emulsion.

Same deal.  Very stable before mixing.  Probably 2 weeks in normal temp, but it will work closer to 3-4 months in the fridge.
